I loved playing my guitar and singing my original songs in the local coffee house.

I formed a singer-songwriter trio in 1976 and we performed around campus, singing some favorite songs from the mid-70's. Then, we started writing our own tunes - my English background served me well:)

My favorite course was Social Psychology under Dr. James Lundy given it bridged my interest in psychology with organizational development. My most fun course was Field Techniques in Anthropology which was an actual physical anthropology excavation.

Traveling by passenger van to Wichita, Kansas, with a motley group of GVSU students to frame a house as part of the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program has to be among my favorite college memories. I met some amazing people on that trip.
